How to Find Link Partners for Your Website by Sam Kerzhnerman

It's not a secret that link exchange can be a very exhausting process, especially when you need to find link partners that are related to the subject of your website. This article will help speed up your link building process and make it much more effective.

Websites with Link Submission Forms

A link submission form is the easiest way to exchange links online. All you have to do is enter your website information and the reciprocal link URL. After submission, your link exchange can be completed within minutes (but usually the next day or sometimes even in a week or a month).

There are a lot of free and paid solutions to create reciprocal directories with the link submission form. Two examples are Link Machine (http://linkmachine.net) and Link Partners (http://linkpartners.com). Some of your potential link partners might have these link directories installed on their websites. Our aim is to find all of the sites that are powered by a certain type of link directory solution.

Let's take a look at LinkPartners' powered link directory here: http://www.skin-protection.com/l-nks/add-link.htm And also here: http://www.rockymountaingourmetsteaks.com/l-nks/add-link.htm. As you can see, this is a default (but slightly modified) template for the page with a link submission form. The question is - What text string in this template will be common for ALL of LinkPartners' powered directories? The answer is - "Please also suggest my link to the LinkPartners.com Directory."

We can use the same trick with Link Machine's powered directory. In this case, the common text string is - "Powered By LinkMachine".

So, for example, if you want to find all websites related to coffee and powered by LinkPartners, just open Google and search for: "intitle:coffee" +"Please also suggest my link to the LinkPartners.com Directory."

Why enter "intitle:coffee" instead of just "coffee"? A website with "coffee" in the page title can be much more relevant to your subject compared to a website where "coffee" can be found just 1 or 2 times on the page.

Websites with Links Pages

What should we do if our potential link partner doesn't have one of the prevalent link directories installed? This is not a problem.

If there is a Links or Resources page on the website, we can find it easily by searching for the word "Links", "Resources", or "Directory" in the page text or in the page title: "intitle:coffee +links" or "intitle:Directory +coffee". Sure, you can enter "coffee links" or "coffee directory", but keep in mind you'll get a huge quantity of irrelevant sites in the search results.

Below is a list of keywords that can be used when searching for link pages:

Websites with Specific URLs

Some websites have specific URLs for their link pages - i.e. links.html, add_link.html, add_site.html. You can find these kinds of websites by going to Google and doing a search for "inurl:links" or "inurl:add_link".

Watch Your Competitors

This is a very old trick that is still useful today. Search for your keyword in Google and look at the top 10 or top 20 sites in the search results. Then just copy their link building strategy by determining which sites are linking to them and putting your link on those sites. The easiest way is to take your competitor's links page and try to have a reciprocal link exchange with all of the sites mentioned on this page. You can also apply this strategy to your link partners.

Link Exchange Software

Submitting manual link forms can be very slow. However, you can use special software that is designed to make the link exchange process easy and fast.

1. Related Link Suggestion Tool from Aaron Wall

This is a free online tool that can be used to find related links. It is based on the techniques described above.

2. AllSubmitter

This is a semi-automatic and automatic form submission tool. It imports the URLs database and then submits it automatically in minutes. This tool has an interesting feature - it can check your URLs database for Google PR, so you can concentrate on high-PR sites and save your time.

3. ARELIS

This is a great tool for link exchange management - finding link partners, finding and submitting link forms, emailing your link exchange requests to webmasters, and generating HTML link pages that can be placed on your site.

4. SEO Elite

Another link management tool developed by Brad Callen, a well-known expert in the SEO industry, is SEO Elite. It can analyze your competitor's or your own link strategy, find and submit to LinkPartners.com's powered directories, and email link exchange requests to several webmasters simultaneously.

5. LinkAssistant

This tool can find link partners for your site and manage the link exchange process. Just enter your niche's keywords and let LinkAssistant do the rest. LinkAssistant's developers claim: "LinkAssistant offers 5 to 12 more essential link building features than any other SEO tool you might have tried in the past."

6. WebCEO

WebCEO is a complex software system that is designed for all-in-one SEO, not for link management only. However, it is able to find link partners by keywords, and send automatic link exchange requests to chosen webmasters. Also, it can analyze which sites are linking to you or your competitor.

Some Unethical Ways to Leave Your Link

Sometimes when working in areas such as pharmacy or adult material, you need tons of links to work your way into the top 10 rankings. This is when unethical link-building strategies come into to play. These strategies can violate search engine rules and use weaknesses in ranking algorithms. That's why these techniques should only be used when you definitely can't move your site to the top by using legal methods and you're not afraid of being banned.

Disclaimer: The information below is for educational purposes only. I am not responsible for possible search engine ranking penalties to your site as a result of unethical link building. Your site can be banned from search engines (since it is violation of their rules), and you should realize that BEFORE trying to implement these techniques.

Link Spamming

Link Spamming is a massive link submission technique that is implemented exclusively for higher search engine ranking purposes. It exploits Google's algorithm that gives the highest ranking to a website that has the greatest number of other websites linking to it. For link spamming, it is typical to use automatic scripts for link submission to the sites that have submission forms and cannot control them - guestbooks, forums, blog comments, article comments, etc.

You can find the guestbooks and blogs using the same way we found the sites with specific URLs. Each guestbook type shares a common part in the URL. For example, the Viper Guestbook always has "vipergb" in the URL. So, you have to search for "inurl:vipergb" in Google to find these kinds of guestbooks.

For automatic link spamming, StoneDiver MultiSubmitter is recommended. It is free software and can be downloaded here. Before spamming, make sure you are operating through a proxy.

People are protecting their resources from link spamming with CAPTCHA - a computer generated image that contains a security code that cannot be recognized by automatic scripts.

Referral Spamming

Let's use Google to search for something like this: "webalizer stats December". What you see in the search results are the websites that for some reason publicize their access logs with the referrer statistics:http://www.cjfearnley.com/stats/webalizer/usage_200512.html. Click "Referrers" and you'll be able to see the URLs from which this website was requested.

You can place your link into this table by using a script that makes repeated website requests with a fake referrer URL pointing to an advertised site. So the next webalizer report will have your link included and indexed by the search engine.

The website can be protected from referral spamming by putting a special code in the .htaccess file.

Forum Profile Spamming

There are a lot of PHPBB based forums. They have one interesting feature - a separate page for each registered user profile, similar to this: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=111644. And what is more interesting is that this page can be indexed by search engines. The "Website" field can be filled with a link to your site. So, all you have to do is just register where you can and leave a link. This also can be done by using an automatic script. The forums can be found by searching for "inurl:profile.php" in Google.

Forums can be protected from Profile Spamming by implementing CAPTCHA and other specific tricks such as "stop words" lists and disabling some registration fields.

Conclusion

There are 2 sides of link building, "white-hat" and "black-hat". Usually "white-hat" works fine, especially when you have a serious website that has interesting and relevant content. However, sometimes you can use "black-hat" techniques if your site is not good enough to be promoted in the usual ways.

Increase Online Traffic

Websites Owners Will Get More Overall Exposure

If you need to increase online traffic to your website, you don't need to purchase traffic to increase your online promotion... Because it can be received for free! Of course, it will come with a price... YOUR TIME!

But if you have more time than money, it may be in your best interest to start grasping a few traffic opportunities. Especially since there are no SEO (search engine optimization) fees associated with working on your site independently.

A WORD OF CAUTION - TIP: If you must hire an SEO Firm to work on your site, be sure they have a solid track record (that is available for viewing) or come recommended by a viable source. Speaking from past experience, an SEO company may promise a particular ranking or traffic increase but the result may never be obtained. And this comes with a price!

ONLINE TRAFFIC PROBLEMS

It is not as easy as some may claim. If done independently, it will require much learning and time. On the flip side, hiring an SEO Firm can be effective but at the same time costly. Also, it is crucial for you to know what the SEO Firm needs to be doing for you... so you know if they are working efficiently.

Traffic from articles has been a primary traffic source for many internet marketers, affiliate websites and ecommerce website owners. A major KEY to receiving article traffic is understanding the power of KEYWORDS. Keywords are simply searchable terms and phrases that people are keying in a search box on a search engine (Google, etc) while looking for things online.

Targeted Keywords are required for optimal traffic for ranking with articles.
For example, if you are selling treadmills and in-particular commercial treadmills, you want to target that. You don't want to create an article and make the article title: Treadmills. 1) You don't want to do this because chances are... a single keyword like treadmills, will likely be too competitive (to rank well using an article). 2) The keyword treadmill is not as specific or as targeted like commercial treadmill.

If a visitor lands on a website after searching Treadmills, what will they be looking for? It seems obvious but the KEYWORD is not as targeted as you may think. Visitors will be looking for treadmill parts, treadmill manuals, treadmill tips and many other related terms. The term commercial treadmill is more targeted as it calls out to a specific search term.

To increase online traffic, it is also recommended to do keyword research and find a keyword that is more targeted to your pages. For example, if you had a page about commercial treadmill reviews, then that page would be even more targeted for your visitor. Therefore, when visitors land on this page about commercial treadmill reviews, the visitor immediately finds the page highly relevant to what they are seeking.

KEYWORD TIP: Typically, the longer the keyword phrase, the more targeted the keyword will be.

So now that you have all of this information, you need to use it wisely in order to increase online traffic using articles. Start by creating an article with the Article Title after a KEYWORD --- that displays a little bit of search volume. Use a keyword tool by searching KEYWORD TOOL on any major search engine. Start with a small keyword (3-10 searches per day). This will be a confidence builder since smaller searched keywords OR long tail -- frequently rank very well in the search engines.

For even better search engine rankings, make the clickable words in the blue underlying link (anchor text) go back to your website... with the same article title keyword that you are trying to rank for. In addition, the keyword title should link back to a web page that discusses the keyword. To increase your conversion rate (website visitors into paying customers) on the webpage, have the same keyword in the title tag of your website. The topically related flow will dramatically improve rankings and your visitors experience!

If you need more online traffic, you can find more traffic topics at bettersiterankings.com. You will find screen capture video, SEO training information, an interactive forum and many other tools to increase online traffic to your website.

The Top 4 Techniques to Entice Visitors Back to Your Site

Everyone designs a site in mind to have more, more people visit it. If you have a website and people don't visit it then all your efforts will go waste and business will not succeed. Besides trying various tactics to attract new visitors to your site, it is also very important to ensure that your old visitors or customers come back for more.

Some of the ways in which you can keep you old visitors with you are listed below:

1. Include Addictive features - Another tactic that you can apply is to use features, which would make people an addict to your site, such as games and freebies. If you have games on your site then there are chances that people will enjoy them so much that would want to come back repeatedly to play.

Same is the case with freebies, which could be in any form such as free tickets, gifts, coupons, even free re-usable content etc. There are chances that people would want to try their luck with new freebies each time.

2. Keep your website updated - There is nothing like stale website content to make people go away and never come back to your website. If you are a member of a site or a regular visitor to a particular site, you will want to have some new information or feature to make you come back to the site time and again. If you have nothing new to gain then you will not bother visiting the site again.

3. Take people's opinions - You may think your website to be very good but if the people don't think so, you will not get traffic on your website. Therefore, it is very important to continuously take peoples opinion about your website and its content. For example, you may find out that people don't really like your website colors. In such a case, you can improve your website by changing its colors. Similarly, you can also make other improvements based on public opinion.

4. Fix broken links - Most people find broken links great put offs. You may very excitedly click on a link and find to your dismay that it does not work. This gives the visitor the impression that the site is not being maintained and there is no one looking after it. You can however solve this problem by keeping a check on the workability of the site, both manually and through software such as REL Link Checker Lite, available from http://www.relsoftware.com

How To Purchase a Digital Camera by Computer Village USA

Purchasing a Digital Camera can seem like a daunting task. All those numbers, 6.0 mega pixels, 640 x 480, 64 MB Flash memory , who can understand or convert between different cameras? This tutorial will help you understand what all those terms mean, which aspects of a digital camera you may be interested in while shopping, and be able to compare different cameras with seemingly different descriptive terms. Digital cameras allow for instant access to your pictures. Most cameras on the market have an LCD screen to view the pictures immediately. You can then choose which pictures to keep and which to delete. Using different methods, you can then send the pictures to your computer to email them, print, or store them for future use. Important Characteristics of Digital Cameras Depending on what you want to use the camera for, different characteristics will interest you over others. As your features increase, so does the price. Resolution The resolution of your digital camera tells you how sharp the pictures will come out. The resolution is measured in dpi, or dots per inch. It is an expressed in pixels, each pixel is a dot of color. For example, 640 x 480 has 480 lines from top to bottom and 640 pixels that make up each of those lines. A typical inexpensive camera will be 640 x 480, which is suitable for web or emailing, but if you want to print pictures, anything below 1280 x 1024 is probably unacceptable. When a camera has more than a million pixels, it is commonly referred to as a "mega pixel" camera. For example, a description of a camera may say "Digital Zoom Camera, 1.5 mega pixel, 1280 x 1024 resolution." This camera has over 1 million pixels, which means it is a high quality camera. Storage Space...to be continued

Use Free Technology to Promote and Market Your Business

The globalization of e-commerce has generated new web-related technology that can be used to promote anything on the Internet. The recent introduction of blogs, pod casts, and RSS provides every Internet marketer an added and indispensable tool he can put to good use to his business advantage.

Today, anyone who has access to the Internet can publish his/her own blog on any topic. This capability provides the blog publisher a free tool to create practically an unlimited number of blog sites focused and targeted to a specific product or niche, which contain information their target market is searching for.

Marketing specialists know the intrinsic value of any related information you can provide to prospective clients and target market about your products and the advantages; advance and related information is considered an essential pre-selling tool, it can positively swing the decision of a potential customer to purchase what it is that you are offering. This marketing technique is very similar to food and beverage companies' supermarket taste tests of new products and automotive companies test drives of newly-released car models.

Utilizing the many blog capabilities and functions to your advantage is just one reason for you to seriously consider publishing your own product or service related blog. In addition, blogs give you the ability to syndicate your content and/or information through another Internet-related technology called Real Simple Syndication (RSS).

What types of web content can you syndicate? They can be articles, product reviews, e-Books, Mini Courses, Tutorials, MP3 Files and streaming video more popularly known as pod casts. The advancement of technology is so great that there are new cellular phone providers that offer these services on their networks!

Imagine if you publish a system of related affiliate blogs. In addition, since blogs normally come with RSS Feed technology, visitors to your blogs and who subscribe to your RSS Feeds will instantly receive your new post - whether it is an article, MP3 file or video!

People who subscribe to your RSS Feed are interested and if they see something that benefits them, then there is a higher probability that they will buy your product or service on offer!

One of the best advantages of a blog is that they are search engine friendly! Every time you post new content to your blog, it pings search engines and other RSS Directories you have submitted to inform them that there is fresh content for them to index.

The more content you post, the more content there is for the search engines to index, which in turn means more traffic to your blog and your website.

You can even modify your blog template by adding Google AdSense and your affiliate programs marketing materials to it. By doing this, every time you post new content, your marketing message will always be there and Google AdSense will display targeted ads related to your content.

Having your own product-related blog as an integral part of your affiliate marketing strategy helps you market your affiliate programs towards your target audience more effectively and cheaply.

Drive Targeted Traffic to Your Website

Build it and they will come. This holds true only for malls and brick-and-mortar businesses but not in the virtual realm of e-commerce unless you are giving away software programs and utilities for free. For your website to generate income through affiliate commissions or other online marketing techniques, it is necessary that you drive targeted traffic (visitors) to your website. The more visitors you direct towards your website, the more chances you have to generate sales.

Driving targeted traffic to your website can be accomplished in several ways, in less than one week.

Here are some highly proven and effective methods to drive targeted traffic to your site:

1. Article Marketing and Submission. To generate free and targeted traffic to your website, you can write articles related to your affiliate products and services and embed a link to your website in the article's resource box and then submit your article for publication to the various article directories on the Internet. You can generate continuous and free, targeted traffic by writing new articles and publishing them every week. Doing this for a year (52 weeks) can drive sizable free traffic to your website and generate sales.

2. Join Community Forums and Message Boards. You can also generate free traffic by joining community forums and message boards by posting messages by signing each message you post with a link to your site!

First, do a Yahoo! or Google search to find forums and message boards directly related to your affiliate products and join as many of them as you can.

Second, create your forum profile making certain that you include your website link in the signature option to enable other forum members to click and go to your website.

Thirdly, invest a few hours daily in navigating the different sections of the forums. Make your presence felt in the online community by asking relevant questions and posting informative and useful replies to other members' questions or messages in order to build up your reputation. The more people believe and trust in you, the more likely they will click your link to check out what it is you have on offer at your website. They can also provide viral marketing for your website by word-of-mouth!

3. Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising. Although PPC Advertising will cost you some money, it is one of the effective ways to generate targeted traffic in a short period. Two of the most popular and effective PPC advertising programs are Yahoo! Search Marketing and Google AdWords. PPC advertising programs allow you to bid for top rankings on the keywords of your choice. When an Internet user enters a search word or phrase that matches your keyword in the PPC search engine and presses the search button, your contextual ad will appear on the sidebar of the search results page. Only if the visitor clicks on your contextual ad to visit your website, will you be charged base on the amount of your bid.

It is therefore possible to generate targeted traffic for your e-business with no cost or minimal investment in terms of real dollars but it does entail perseverance, dedication and time.
